About me
Robert is a 17-year-old from Virginia who is passionate about World War II history. He has been fascinated by the war since he was a child, and he has always been eager to learn more about it. Robert is particularly interested in the stories of the people who fought in the war, and he is committed to preserving and honoring their legacy through his collections and research.
In June 2023 Robert was invited to join the National World War II Museum Leadership Academy. He spent a week in New Orleans, learning about the museum and immersing himself in personal stories of World War II. This experience has solidified his desire to learn more about the lessons of the past.
Robert is raising money through FlexyFriends to fund the Leadership Academy 2024 trip to Normandy, France, with the National World War II Museum. The trip will give Robert the opportunity to learn more about the history of the D-Day landings, and to meet with other young people who are interested in preserving World War II history and to interact with local historians.
Robert is a dedicated and passionate young man who is committed to making a difference in the world. He is an inspiration to others, and he is sure to make a positive impact on the future.
